Innovative solution for detecting microplastic on beaches

Race for Oceans Technology is an impact start-up with the mission to develop future detection solutions for land-based waste, that cannot be collected by hand. 

The next step is to develop an AI model capable of detecting plastic pellets in coastal areas, with the aim of integrating it into drones for mapping. Once detected, small terrain-adapted robots can be deployed for collection. 

The vision is that, in the future, we will be able to detect and collect all land-based waste, that cannot be picked up manually.
